Keith Travers was the Construction Manager for the total renovation of our home, a project that required ten months of solid work. We had owned our 40–year old house for 12 years at the time, and had not undergone any major changes or upgrades since we purchased it. We hired an architect to draw up plans and decided to add approximately 1000 square feet (on three different floors), replace the windows, doors, wiring, plumbing, HVAC system, insulation, drywall and trim and most of the exterior material. Throughout the process, Keith provided us with sound advice and the excellent workmanship of his employees (Sharp Carpentry) as well as acquired the services of experienced and professional tradespersons. His attention to detail, both in the construction itself and in the administration of the project was superb and he provided us with confidence in his ability to ensure a top notch product and to protect our investment. Keith made himself readily available to us by e-mail, phone as well as with regular on–site meetings. He kept us “in the loop” at all times, and often took time to explain things to us in layman’s terms that we did not initially understand. In addition, he dealt with issues or problems encountered along the way in order to resolve them satisfactorily.

Throughout construction, our home was always neat, swept and tidied at the end of each work day, which made progress readily visible to us as well as provided a safe and organized workplace for Sharp Carpentry employees and other tradespersons. Keith met all deadlines and the project was finished slightly ahead of schedule.

We highly recommend Keith and Sharp Carpentry.  Our renovation experience was a good one, owing mainly to Keith’s knowledge, expertise and interpersonal skills.
